Which bags can zip together?

The majority of NEMO Spoon™ bags will zip together when combining a Men’s and Women’s style (they have opposite-sided zippers). At present time, Riff™, Disco™, and Forte™ can all be interchangeably combined if one Men’s and one Women’s bag are being used.

Exceptions to this rule are Tempo™ and Kayu™, which can only zip together with another bag of the same type (Tempo to Tempo; Kayu to Kayu), in the opposite gender.

Men’s and Women’s bags can join regardless of size. Don’t fret if one bag is a bit longer than the other; you will simply have a bit of extra fabric at the end. If you want more of an “matched” fit, we’ve found a Men’s regular bag and Women’s long bag to be the best combination.

Unfortunately, our bags’ zipper locations are currently tied to gender designations, so Men’s bags will only zip to Women’s bags, and vice versa. Due to manufacturing, industry, and logistical standards, it’s not a quick or easy fix to make the combinations more inclusive, but it’s an issue we are very much aware of and working on. In the meantime, we’ve increased the length options for many of our bags so that more adventurers can use them, regardless of height and gender.
