Is NEMO’s Down treated?

Starting in 2018, all down used in our sleeping bags meets the criteria of the Responsible Down Standard (RDS). RDS certifies that virgin down and feathers are gathered from ducks and geese that were humanely treated. This down is then tracked from farm to final product to ensure its sourcing.

We apply a PFAS-free water-resistant treatment to all down used in NEMO sleeping bags to reduce absorption and improve performance.
